Veterans action programs provide assistance for Veterans that need temporary help with food, utility bills, etc while waiting on their claims or while in transition. Transitional housing for Veterans and their families. Also Working with the HUD/VASH program that is a partnership between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CVC programs provide the basic living needs of Veterans taken into these programs.
